Think of the image of the two fish, separate colors each half has the eye of the other color. Why? So we can relate to the other half. Rachel Tegano reminded me that within this symbol each seed is in the center of it's opposite. This is the necessary ingredient so we can recognize ourselves in another, have empathy, understand, be attracted, and have compassion.
I saw this principle being enacted in nature with the sunset being reflected off the water. Surely the experience of an aquatic life is different than the aerial life above, and yet... in this moment the surface of the lake acted as the eye as it reflected the sky. And above....in a totally airy experience... clouds of condensation were held, the eye of the watery depths below.
